"This contact is still being processed" when a contact enters an automation

Hi!

I am using a trigger based on a contact entering a pipeline.

When we send the contact and deal data through the API, the contact is created, as well as the deal and it enters the automation.

However, it does not move further down in the Automation and I get the following message when I check its location: “This contact is still being processed”

Any idea why this is happening?

    Hi! Following this because we’re currently experiencing the same problem! We actually created new automation and moved the contacts to that new one - but the contacts still do not move further down in the Automation. Also has the “This contact is still being processed” message.

    We have the same problem, the contacts are stuck in all our automations with the message ‘This contact is still being processed’

    Hi everyone, our network provider experienced an outage which caused an interruption to our automations processing. We’ve worked to mitigate this and automations have begun processing, but are delayed. You can follow the updates here.

    Hi, I just read: ‘We have taken steps to mitigate the impact of our network provider’s outage and the ActiveCampaign platform is fully operational.’ on the updates page.

    Does this mean that the problem with the automations is solved? Because we are still having problems. The new contacts are added to the automation, however they still don’t move further down. They suppose to receive a welcome mail etc, but nothing is happening.

    Will this all be solved and will these contacts also automatically start to move down again? When do you expect this to happen? Since we are already starting to get questions from customers.

    Automations are beginning to process but there is currently a backlog. All contacts will continue to move through the automation as expected. You’re also able to manually push contacts through wait steps as needed. Feel free to subscribe to the status page to receive real time updates.

    We’ve just had another outage with automations. It seems like only some (not all) automations are affected. ActiveCampaign does not even display “this contact is still being processed” - it’s just ignoring the trigger altogether. No changes were made to the trigger. The automation was working 2h ago.
