Best way to segment lists based on contact location?

So I am fairly new ActiveCampaign but for the most part have the basics down. We are a digital and email agency and recently upgraded our account to include the CRM portion of AC so that I can start building out the database. I am the only sales executive for our agency so in order to spread enough focus across the country, I delegate timezones each week. I've tried doing an advanced search based on location it looks as if the contacts are not associated with the account address, which makes sense if it does not auto-populate. Does anyone know what I might be missing or a solution to searching by location?
