I set up the “out of the box” double opt-in solution inside ActiveCampaign. It works great as long as the client actually clicks the opt-in email link. If they sign up and then never confirm their signup is when it gets confusing to me…their email address is NOT in my “newsletter” list but it DOES show up in “Contacts” but when I click on the email address there is nothing in the log that shows that the confirmation email was sent and that it was never approved or anything. I see there is a way to re-send the opt-in email but that still does not show up in the history/log of the contact.
How is the best way to track things like this?
